You’ll usually get your first printed ultrasound picture between 8 and 14 weeks, depending on your country and healthcare provider.
Most private obstetricians and clinics often give you pictures at every visit, although this can vary. Some clinics don’t offer any pictures at all unless you’re willing to pay an extra fee, so it’s best to check in advance if you’re hoping for a keepsake.
You can also get more detailed printed or digital images during a 3D/4D scan later in pregnancy. These are usually elective and not always part of routine care.
